This reading literature lesson teaches students how to infer what the text is about with the details they are given and the prior knowledge they already possess. The lesson includes research-based strategies and strategic questions that prepare students for assessments. In this lesson, students are working with short passages and must specifically identify words or phrases in the text that helped them make the inference.
