This measurement and geometry lesson focuses on comparing plane and solid objects. The lesson includes research-based strategies and strategic questions that prepare students for assessments. In this lesson, the students look at a picture of a plane object and compare it to a solid object that looks like the plane object. Then, they write the number of sides and the number of corners for each plane object. In addition to the lesson, there are five pages of Independent Practice and review modeled on current adaptive testing items.
