This statistics, data analysis, and probability lesson focuses on drawing bar graphs. The lesson includes research-based strategies and questions that help prepare students for assessments. In this lesson, students count the total number of items (fruit in a shopping cart, animals on a farm, etc.) and color in the appropriate amount of boxes in the columns of a bar graph. The students read the missing number pattern three times. In addition to the lesson, there are eight pages of Independent Practice and review flashcards with questions modeled after current adaptive testing items.
