6(10)(C) Revise drafts for clarity, development, organization, style, word choice, and sentence variety.

This writing lesson covers how to revise writing by inserting transition sentences between paragraphs. The lesson includes research-based strategies and strategic questions that prepare students for assessments. In this lesson, students will identify the topic of each paragraph, determine the relationship between them, and then write a transitional sentence using one of six types of transitions that best fits the text.
