In this lesson, students read the topic or problem. Then, they list three possible solutions and persuasive evidence to support each solution. Next, they select the best solution of the three and defend their answer. Last, students write a problem and solution essay that includes an intro, body, and conclusion. In addition to the lesson, there are eight pages of Independent Practice and review with questions modeled after current adaptive testing items.
