This high school American history lesson has students analyze the ideological origins of the American Revolution. Students will trace the development of the ideology within the colonies that led to the Declaration of Independence. This lesson is intended to introduce the concepts that influenced the writing of the Declaration and the ideas that informed the development of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
