This reading foundational lesson covers the decoding of words with prefixes. The lesson includes research-based strategies and strategic questions that prepare students for assessments. In this lesson, students will write a new word by adding a prefix, decode the meaning of the new word, and then complete sentences using the new word made with the prefix. (Focus is on prefixes re-, un-, and over-.)
